Accounts Receivable Manager, Finance and Operations

Do you have at least four years of manager experience in Accounts Receivables, Cash Collection or Accounts Payable? Then we are looking for you! In the role of Finance Operations Manager you will lead the employees of the AR team.

What will you be doing?

Together with your team, you will make sure the invoices are issued timely and accurately. Additionally you will manage the AR so the invoices are paid as per the agreed payment terms and cash is applied timely.

Under the direction of the Director Financial Operations, the Accounts Receivable Manager proactively leads and manages all aspects of core Financial Operations (AR, AP, CashApp). The primary duty of this position is to oversee and ensure department day-to-day operations run smoothly, including strategic relationship building with internal teams, drive department goals and help produce strategic decisions in line with business growth and continuity.


  • Managing and coaching the team of 10 analysts;
  • Monitor the progress of all work deliverables, deadlines and workload;
  • Identify bottlenecks and resolve problems;
  • Perform checks on the accuracy and timeliness of invoicing;
  • Support the team in the daily activities;
  • Be the point of contact for our clients and suppliers, to handle their questions and comments about the financial administration;
  • Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement in work processes and within the organization;
  • Conduct performance assessment for the team members;
  • Responsible for adequate sick leave management, in consultation with HRM;
  • Responsible, together with the seniors of the department, for correct monthly, quarterly and annual closures.

Besides being numerically and analytically strong, you also understand people. Because of your diligence and accuracy you radiate confidence, both internally and externally. In addition, you can communicate at different levels, you are decisive. This allows you to assess situations and the desired approach.

Furthermore, you have:

  • A completed bachelor degree;
  • A minimum of 4 years work experience in financial administration as a manager;
  • Experience is contingent workforce sector is highly appreciated;
  • Good knowledge of Excel;
  • Experience with accounting software (preferably PeopleSoft);
  • Very good oral and written knowledge of the Dutch and English languages;
  • An enthusiastic and customer-oriented attitude;

And you can:

  • Motivate and coach the team;
  • Set priorities well and are punctual;
  • Work 40 hours per week with us.
